It is made in bogolan prints. Bogolan comes from the Bamanan weavers of Mali (West Africa). The term is made up of two words: "Bogo" meaning "earth, clay" and "lan" meaning "made with". It refers both to a women's loincloth and to the ancestral dyeing technique used to create it.
