This ring is named after Ngam nok
The ngam nok python, often depicted as a two-headed snake is a symbol of royalty and majesty.

The python Ngam nok is a royal symbol, presented in form of continuous meander, figuring Ngam Nok (as on the ring).

It was tattooed on the forehead and the back of women. Through this, people could see that the woman was from the palace, and they should not attempt to vie for her attention.
These women chose their lovers themselves. Once the girl had seen her first potential lover, it was time for the tattoo specialist to perform the art (Check the showcased image). According to the Kom, this was to bestow on her a special status among commoners and also served as a warning to men who intended asking her hand in marriage.
